Mexico… Rivera Maya

Ever fancied travelling to Mexico, Rivera Maya is the place to stay. Why you might ask? Mexico is steeped in history and here you can experience the stunning beaches, wonderful Mayan Ruins in Tulum and Cave diving/snorkelling in the underground river system. The cave swimming was an amazing experience but I have to say when the guide turned his torch off to show us just how dark it was you have never seen so many strangers huddle together so fast. It amazes me that divers venture out on their own!

The trip to Chichen Itza is about 2hrs but definitely worth it however in August it was extremely hot so go really early. Another experience that you have to try is the Senotes. What a site! See attached pictures of my visit
